Aims and Scope

Korean Journal of Adult Nursing (KJAN) is the official journal of the Korean Society of Adult Nursing founded in 1971. The KJAN publishes bimonthly peer-reviewed original research articles in Korean or English. The journal aims to contribute to the knowledge of nursing including nursing theory, practice, and education that provides a better understanding of human responses to illness and health promotion. It covers high-quality original research articles and review papers in the area of clinical practice and nursing management for acute care, and community-based approaches for adults with chronic illness. The journal also serves an educational function through presenting reports or critiques of conceptual, theoretical, methodological, and ethical issues relevant to adult population. All or part of the KJAN is indexed and tracked by Scopus, CINAHL, KoreaMed, KoMCI, CrossCheck, and CrossRef. The journal follows the Open Access Journal policy, and all its content is freely available from http://www.ana.or.kr/class/
